My back is killing me!!

First day in the snow today. Woke up early and headed toward Keystone (along with half of Denver) to get in on some of the 20+" of fresh snow the area had received over the previous three days. I made a beeline for the Outback to find any remaining tree stashes. I made 4-5 laps, and went for one last one before heading home. While traversing across a narrow line in tight trees, I approached a partly-exposed log laying across my line. I popped the nose of my board over the log, only to see another log about the same size about two feet down the trail. The nose of my board went right into the second log and I flipped flat on my back onto another log just past the second one. The pain was instant and I knew immediately I would be suffering from this fall for a while. I gathered myself and rode out of the trees and toward the lift out of the Outback. At the top of the first lift, I realized it was going to be tough going to get back to the car. I could ride without significant pain, but when it came to pushing to where I needed to be to strap in, I was in excruciating pain. It was enough pain to actually think about downloading on the gondola. Oh, hell no! I rode it out and made it back to the car, in pain, but still with a smile on my face from the decent powder day. Of course, Elsa didn't have an ounce of sympathy for me and even told me to "give it up" when it comes to tree riding. Not a chance! In the end, my back hurts like hell, but the pain will be gone before the end of the week, and I'll be back in the trees at the first opportunity.
